About the stage:

Hill 6 Studio is a sleek and elegant daylight studio with Moroccan shower, free-standing bathtub, moving prop wall and lots of day light. Adding up to our beautiful “gloss floor” studio 6 at Hill location is newly installed Moroccan clay textured shower corner with a deck and a standing shoot-through glass.

About the shoot:

Grant Kakishcarr (signed to State Management) is a talented model and actor with a passion for drag. Vicious Piranha, Grant’s alter ego, is badass and sexy. We had a killer time using the most of the space in the hour that we had. 90’s, edgy, leather mama inspired looks with lots of attitude. I used a lot of direct light to embody those cheeky, rebellious vibes. I love shooting drag because of the creative freedom. There’s so much space to experiment and no societal norms attached. While we didn’t necessarily go buck-wild at this shoot, you can still feel the freedom and fun in these images.

Michael McLane’s Vintage Shoot In Olympic 5

About the shoot:

The shoot was for my actor / model friends, Jimmy Flint Smith and TW Reed. We utilized the interior of the metal garage to capture images of Jimmy and TW with Jimmy’s beloved 70’s era GTO. We also utilized the boxing ring in the adjacent work area to capture the vintage boxing images.

About the shoot:

This was really a spur of the moment shoot and we all just shot together and switched off in both the Morrocan Shower Room and the Rain Room. We all work a good amount and this shoot day was creatively exciting because we were able to take shots we had been thinking about and were particularly passionate about. Some of us had not even met in person before but that made the vibe even more energetic and now we are all friends!
