We are pleased to announce that our sought-after Art 1 has been adorned with a new wall coating section, and is now available! This popular, beautifully lit stage now features not only white concrete walls for the industrial tenor but also the dark wood veneer installed in the north east corner of the stage.

There are new props available as well for your creative freedom. In addition to the white grand piano Art 1 also features one of a kind gold-sprayed palm branches. The stage is equipped with the same great gadgets available in all of our studios – black, white, and gray photo backdrops as well as three strobes along with light modifiers. The Devil Wears Angel by Jvdas Berra

Photographer Jvdas Berra and his team were working for HUF Magazine Fashion Editorial creating magnificent and unique project using Pro Stage I. They came out with some very mystical images, that will leave you in awe. About the maestro responsible for the images: “Based in Los Angeles and New York, Jvdas Berra, International Photographer, was born in Mexico on January 23rd, 1987, he studied film production. At the age of 18 he published his first science fiction book followed by two sequels. Currently has chosen to engage in fashion and advertising photography. He has worked for multiple designers, modeling agencies, advertising campaigns and national and international journals, obtaining a rapid professional growth, which has earned him recognition as one of most promising talents in Fashion and Fine Art Photography after only three years of career. In his own words “I have no limits, not even the sky is”. He has featured in Vogue, ELLE, Nylon, Marie Claire, InStyle, Image Amplified, Vanidades, Photography Master Class, NatGeo among others. His fine art work is now exhibited at the prestigious Fine Art Gallery “These Fine Walls” in New York. A-list model Xenia Deli accompanied by Celebrity photographer Elias Tahan graced us with her presence at the studio with a photoshoot for Design Scene magazine cover story. Having the top-notch production team onboard and an exquisite taste in fashion photography, Elias used Pro Stage I as his canvas. Cited from the Design Scene interview with the model, here is an excerpt about Xenia Deli – “Taking the modelling scene by storm Xenia is currently based in Los Angeles and has her eyes set on a successful modelling career transitioning into acting. With jobs for Victoria’s Secret and LOVE Magazine in her portfolio that dream is heading in the right direction for Xenia.” ** Here are few words about the photographer for this shoot: “Elias Tahan is a photographer and director from Los Angeles. After leaving Art Center College of Design, he immediately launched his career as a full time photographer, drawing inspiration from film and pop culture. SLATE SWIM Collection

Running a photo studio in LA one can say with certainty that the city has a vast, diverse set of potential clients. LA is known for housing big entertainment production groups as well as trendy fashion brands. The team from SLATE SWIM label, a Los Angeles based company that focuses on contemporary swimwear embodying minimal design, had a recent shoot with photographer Justin Mooney in our stage D.

About the session and the brand’s vision:

“Slate was aiming to take the brand imagery to the next level of minimalistic, high-end approach with that LA feel. Designer, Jessica Liao and Justin worked together to direct a creative aesthetic that truly matched SLATE SWIM’s design. FD Studio brought the exact backdrop and fun environment to execute a fun, innovative experience, resulting in perfect photos to tell the story.

The photographer for the session was a maestro Justin Mooney . The Designer and the owner of Slate Swim is Jessica Liao . Make up was provided by an artist Candyce Williams. Models for the shoot were Audrey Bradford , Kristen Pettey and Amber Bernstein.

Stage D was chosen as a creative space for this session. Working with both natural light and strobes this stage provides the best lighting solutions in any instance. With lots of space to encompass, stage D gives the opportunity for creating different diverse looks for photo and video projects. Beauty Photoshoot with Saryn Christina

Long Beach based photographer Saryn Christina was invited by incredible team of the award winning hair and makeup artists to do a beauty photoshoot with gorgeous model Darija Varnas in our “blackout” stage B. The final images enriching their portfolio are both breathtaking and moving. A few words about Saryn Christina and her artistic vision: “I’ve always been a creative person, unfortunately, I’m not the best painter nor can I draw for the life of me. Though, I have tried! My dad gave me my first camera in high school, I started taking classes and learning how to process and print my own images there. Fast forward to today, I shoot digital, and retouch all of my images using photoshop and other editing software. I’ve had my work shown in galleries from the dirges of Downtown LA to the glitz and glamour of Beverly Hills. I’ve been published internationally in various magazines, as well as a couple of books. My focus is Fashion, beauty and portrait photography. I work both on location and in the studio, depending upon what the job calls for. Featuring all black walls and ceiling, with capabilities to completely shut off the natural window light this space has become a favorite of our clients for both photo and video projects. As with our other studios Stage B comes equipped with black, gray, and white background paper, three strobe lights and numerous modifiers for your choice. Raychel Weiner for The Glass Camera

Photographer Bianca Gerasia, through her artistic platform The Glass Camera recently took full advantage of the props and the beautiful rose wall we have installed in Stage Art 3 by making amazing dance images with stunning young model/ballerina Raychel D.Weiner. Here is a brief information from Bianca about herself, The Glass Camera and the shoot: “I am a Bi-coastal Freelance visionary artist and photographer. Traveling to and from NYC&LA. I don’t consider myself a photographer as much as I do a visionary and artist. All my work is about capturing things from my point of view and making anything possible with a photo. For shoots I don’t usually have a plan, just maybe a brief concept or so but once we are in the studio it’s all up to the models and our relationship to discover what we will create. I always tell the models to just do whatever they feel and to just be themselves. As little direction as possible, otherwise we are preventing ourselves from expressing our creativity. If we all took pictures from the same angle, pose, and proper lighting nothing would stand out except for a different face in front of the lens now and then.” Bianca Gerasia is a photographer specializing in fashion, portraits, and original creative artistic projects.
