About the stage:

StageF was used for this team’s creative session. The studio is the smallest space we currently offer for our clients. Yet it is one of the most brightest stages with the tremendous amount of natural light coming from North West. It has gained a nickname – “light box” by some of our regulars and it truly fulfills it at any time of the day from dawn until dusk. This studio also features two section laminate floor of white and dark color for your creative needs. As with any of our stages, Studio F comes with 3 strobe lights already included in the hourly rate and backdrop seamless paper installed. Take a closer look HERE.

About the shoot:

I just had my first experience booking a studio at FD studio and it was amazing! I was able to get all my (four sets)headshots done within two hours. The studio had been very responsive to my equipments requests and questions. When I arrived, everything was good to go and there were a lot of props/backdrops/lights provided for free. I was very satisfied with the experience and would definitely go back for my headshot updates!

The stage:

Stage Hill 3 is one of our largest and brightest stages. Advantageously positioned with the windows facing west and north, this stage gets plenty of sift indirect sunlight in the first half of the day and lots of direct sunbeams in the second half. Pro I is a versatile daylight studio featuring big windows, a fire escape, a silver chaise, a modern bathtub, and a stunning overall urban motif. A red access wall is also included in this unique photo studio for rent. “My name is Akinyola Adabale and I am an LA-based photographer specializing in natural expression. I started photography at 4 years old. I just remember always wanting to be behind the camera. In college, I was a sports photographer and enjoyed shooting action shots. As my career progressed, I realized that I had a knack for taking candid photos. I started experimenting with getting my subjects to be more relaxed and natural on camera. Most people utilize poses they see from fashion and runway; I just tell people to be themselves. The main goal of my shoot is to make people laugh and have fun. That’s where the magic lies.”

At the location:

Studio Hill 5 is one of the best option we have for creative crews on the budget. This Romantic White Stage has its windows facing South, which provides plenty of natural light for photographers. Among studio’s unique props are Gold Bellman Cart, White Decor Frames Wall, “Victoria Secret” like pink striped wall section and a pink upright piano. The concept of this photo shoot was a combination of black anime and action movies that feature a female protagonist.

“Cristina Tenille specializes in custom made designs ranging from urban streetwear to chic, whimsy evening wear. I have recently expanded to include more “ready to wear” items including everyone’s favorite wardrobe staple pieces–denim. We shot several looks including some of the more intricate one of a kind custom denim pieces. We were able to utilize the balcony setting as well as the grey backdrop for some amazing shots.I love this studio, it’s one of my favorite studios to create dope art in!!!”

About the stage:

Stage C was a choice of this creative collective for several reasons. Besides a tremendous space capacity perfect for both, large crews and small teams this stage provides a white CYC wall that is always freshly painted for each client. In addition to the prop count, a grass wall and a wood floor corned section installed for your creative exploration. I rented it for my birthday shoot. I’m a freelance makeup artist and I work with a friend Angie Melendez, she’s a portrait photographer; she took my pictures that are attached to this email. Stage Art 1 was a choice of location for this session. Adorned with features like white grand piano and three step podium this stage is a tool of versatility, provider of great natural light, benchmark of industrial Downtown minimalistic design. This space has its windows facing South and West and gets beautiful direct light during the PM hours, and great open-shaded light in the morning. Using strobes? No worries, we include 3 strobe lights in the hourly rate along with black, white and grey background available.
