Burlesque Photography Event in Astoria NY

Join us on Sunday, May 17th, from 1–4 PM at FD Photo Studio Astoria for a special Burlesque Photoshoot featuring two professional NYC burlesque performers.

Burlesque performers will be posing for a small group of up to 10 photographers and videographers in a stunning French Loft studio. For under $150, you’ll get a unique opportunity to photograph professional burlesque performers, enjoy three hours of studio access, and connect with other local creatives.

We’re excited to host two NYC-based burlesque performers bringing classic glamour, confidence, and character to give you incredible shots: Ms. Margaret Jean@ms.margaretjean and Poison Ivory@misspoisonivory!

This studio offers beautiful natural light, along with strobe lights and light modifiers, you’re welcome to use during your shoot. You may also bring your own lighting equipment if there’s something specific you’d like to try.

Astoria 1 - White French Loft: An elegant white studio with hardwood floors, soft natural light, and vintage-inspired furnishings - ideal for classic burlesque aesthetics.

• Open to photographers and videographers of all experience levels. No outside models at this time.

How It Works

• Each photographer receives two 15-minute sessions (one with each performer), shared with one other photographer
• Pair tickets allow you to attend with a friend and share sessions together while saving on admission fees
• Small group rotations ensure an intimate, focused shooting environment

Event Policies

• Everyone entering the studio must have a valid ticket
• Respectful, professional conduct is required at all times
• Model releases and agreements are handled independently between participants. FD Photo Studio does not manage individual arrangements.
• Photographers are not required, but are encouraged to share edited images with performers after the event.
