Stage Art 1 was a choice of location for this session. Adorned with features like white grand piano and three step podium this stage is a tool of versatility, provider of great natural light, benchmark of industrial Downtown minimalistic design. This space has its windows facing South and West and gets beautiful direct light during the PM hours, and great open-shaded light in the morning. Using strobes? No worries, we include 3 strobe lights in the hourly rate along with black, white and grey background available. My name is Ryan Castaneda and I am a passionate Portrait Photographer. Learning photography was a huge challenge for me. I didn’t go to school to learn my craft and so I found mentors in the industry through social media that had online videos. This was a challenge, to have sleepless nights staying up learning, soaking up as much information as I could. I felt dedicated to learn and it was all worth it. There was a lot of trial and error to learn how to properly use a camera and learning how to retouch photos.

My whole life I only thought about doing things for myself. Photography made me want to give back to others. Taking photos of others and giving to them rather than to myself made me humble. It changed me to my core and I am truly grateful for that. I believe everyone has a story to tell, and each story is powerful and beautiful. That is what is behind each photo, not just the subject, but their story.

Stage A, chosen for this shoot, is a modest sized studio, great for a nice and clean high-key look. A long time favorite of our clients, Stage A gets beautiful direct sunlight in the morning through north and east-facing windows, and beautifully soft indirect light as the day goes on. StageF was used for this team’s creative session. The studio is the smallest space we currently offer for our clients. Yet it is one of the most brightest stages with the tremendous amount of natural light coming from North West. It has gained a nickname – “light box” by some of our regulars and it truly fulfills it at any time of the day from dawn until dusk. This studio also features two section laminate floor of white and dark color for your creative needs. As with any of our stages, Studio F comes with 3 strobe lights already included in the hourly rate and backdrop seamless paper installed. Take a closer look HERE.

Jackson Davis’s Dramatic Portraits

Photographer Jackson Davis has a motto ” Give you a fun, easy, and affordable shoot, while delivering high Quality Headshots.” This shoot was not an exception. Great work, while taming the store light in a completely dark environment.

About the photographer:

I am an actor as well as a photographer. So I understand what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera.

I understand the pressures of getting headshots.

I understand the investment and what they mean. I also understand that nobody, and I mean nobody, likes to get headshots taken. And that is why I try to make it super easy.

When you shoot with me, all you have to do is show up with your clothes, being camera ready… and I do the rest. For real, it’s that easy.

Once you’ve found parking (Which is pretty easy) the rest of the shoot is a breeze. I also include things like free touch-ups in my packages.

Because I know all the expenses that come with getting new headshots (Uploading to websites, printing, etc.) So I want to save you some money, while giving you a great headshot! I want you to have the best shots possible.

Stage Hill 2 is one of our latest additions and the second blackout stage we currently offer. Painted all black from top to bottom with the matte color this stage absorbs the light making it easier to control reflections and have complete control of the light painting. Spacious, nicely conditioned and minimalistic, Hill 2 is perfect for video and photo shoots, big or small crew. About this location:

Stage Hill 4 is one of our largest and brightest stages. Advantageously positioned with the windows facing west and north, this stage gets plenty of sift indirect sunlight in the first half of the day and lots of direct sunbeams in the second half. Hill 4 is furnished with several comfy and photogenic couches of cream and and golden/brown leather color. Nice and quick photoshoot took place in our “Gloss Floor” stage Hill 6. The studio currently features a sleek and elegant daylight studio with Moroccan shower, active bathtub, textured grey canvas backdrop and a hanging egg-shaped clear chair, which were prominently depicted in this session.

Located in the neighborhood of Long Island City, a remarkable photoshoot took place in the Daylight Photo Studio 7. My name is Akeem Anderson. I’m from Brooklyn. I’ve been doing photography for 3 years. I went for various looks while maximizing the whole studio. A summer villa feel. A cozy at home feel. A Shower look. A home in lingerie look. Etc. The model is Lauren Biazzo. Natural light was used mostly. In other cases, I used the umbrella as a key light.
