Studio Hill 5 is one of the best option we have for creative crews on the budget. This Romantic White Stage has its windows facing South, which provides plenty of natural light for photographers. Among studio’s unique props are Gold Bellman Cart, White Decor Frames Wall, “Victoria Secret” like pink striped wall section and a pink upright piano. LaKeysha Edwards was born on October 2, in Detroit, MI. At a young age she developed a love for sports, math, science and acting. After receiving her Masters of Science from Kettering University, ranked 13th nationally among engineering universities, she decided to move to Los Angeles to follow her true passion for acting.

Stage Art 1 was a choice of location for this session. Adorned with features like white grand piano and three step podium this stage is a tool of versatility, provider of great natural light, benchmark of industrial Downtown minimalistic design. This space has its windows facing South and West and gets beautiful direct light during the PM hours, and great open-shaded light in the morning. Using strobes? No worries, we include 3 strobe lights in the hourly rate along with black, white and grey background available. Art 2, is one of the busiest stages we currently offer. Equipped with everything you need for a perfect intimate, romantic or empowering style of photoshoot, this stage always leaves our clients excited and hungry for more time. Featuring a dark wood floor platform across the stage and a sexy dark leather lounge chair creates welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. A wall section with the brick veneer adds a flavor of downtown loft New York style. Among these unique features, the stage comes with great equipment – three strobe lights, three backdrops of white, grey and black color, sound system, makeup station and changing station. The shoot was for two shoes that PUMA brought back from their archives, the Sky Mid LX and Basket 90680. We helped re-introduce the shoes, which were given a lux makeover, with a Victorian Age inspired motif with antique furniture curated from antique malls.

I had a great time shooting at the private jet studio! It was just me and my photographer that I have been working with for the past 2 years. The style of this shoot was luxury boudoir in an unusual setting. I create content mainly for my Instagram and it is truly my passion! Every woman needs a way to make herself feel confident and sexy and for me this is it, being photographed gives me that extra confidence boost and confidence is sexy!

About the Shoot:

Performer’s Chris Peterkin and Ashley Smith-Wallace came in for new headshots. Since the space had such a creative atmosphere for us to play in. We were able to explore the natural lighting, and exposed brick for some fun media photos as well.

My goal while shooting is to create a space where my subject feels like they can have fun, get silly, and step beyond what they expected out of the shoot. It’s where I feel the best work comes out of my clients and myself. Being a performer as well, my work allows me to travel and meet new and exciting people willing to collaborate. It also grants me the knowledge in having an idea of what they’re looking for out of a photoshoot.

I like to start my sessions off with a conversation between my subject and my team. Not only does it allow my assistant (Will Hin) and I to further understand the style my client is trying to achieve. We begin to create a true artistic collaboration between the subject and Jake Allen Photography.
