Our Blackout & RGB enforced studio 4 with “Action Painting” wall is on a high demand. This blackout stage was designed to provide complete control over the strobe light. The shoot concept was titled “Trials of Love,” which displays the emotions we go through while in love and in relationships. To go along with this theme I used the color white in these photos to represent purity, youth and new beginnings.

Arashi Goods’s mission is not only to educate others on the amazing benefits of bamboo, but also to be the catalyst in the mass acceptance of bamboo in a variety of industries, such as wellness, fashion, and construction. We are huge proponents for the adoption of bamboo as a sustainable alternative resource and design our products with this goal in mind.

We set up this shoot to capture more human emotions in our content, as most of our previous content has just been product photos.

We are a lingerie, costume, and wig brand known as Dreamgirl International. We rented out the studio to shoot our Fall Holiday Valentine Collection for 2021-2022. We had such a great shoot that day and loved utilizing all the props and backdrops the studio has to offer. We cannot wait to show off these amazing photos for our Holiday line.

Equipped with black, gray, and white background paper, three strobe lights and numerous modifiers for your choice this stage is all you need for a perfect, intimate, creative environment. Malachi Smythe In Astoria 8

About the shoot:

My Name is Malachi Smythe, I’m a fashion editorial photographer specializing in portraiture. I’m 21 years old and I’m form Charlotte, North Carolina living in Montclair, New Jersey right outside of New York City. The team that I had for the shoot was the Talent David Winston, assisting me was Christian Traver, and shooting was myself. The shoot was inspired by a photographer named Mathieu Rabary who was able to capture emotion and free flowing motion through fashion portraits in Black and White alongside color, and seeing this made me want to do that same thing. The setup in studio was a simple white seamless backdrop and we just went from there.
