All three studios are prepped in canonical FD style – white walls with huge windows and columns; industrial, minimal looks with lots of sunlight coming through.

jAHH’s Birthday Shoot

Birthday shoots are not seldom for us. And while our clients are taken off the ground with a gazillion of helium inflated balloons, we are happy to accommodate to our best abilities to make sure – this photoshoot will be unforgettably good. Photographer Chris Thomson and his model, cute boy jAHH, can definitely vouch for that!

“Since leaving University of Central Oklahoma in 2007, Chris Paul Thompson, has dedicated his life to a pursuit of the commercial arts and encouraging others to find ways to express themselves. Through photography, marketing design, and consulting, Chris built a name for himself under the Chrisp Images brand.

After years building his brand in Oklahoma City, OK, Chris headed to Dallas in pursuit of new opportunities. He quickly found himself working with Def Jam artist Bone, and Sony Music artist Party Boyz and Dj Mr Rogers. While in Dallas he also designed for Triple D Gear, Rich Minds Records, Chenapan, and consulted for Nerdy Fresh Clothing.”

Stage C was a choice of this creative collective for several reasons. Besides a tremendous space capacity perfect for both, large crews and small teams this stage provides a white CYC wall that is always freshly painted for each client. In addition to the prop count, a grass wall and a wood floor corned section installed for your creative exploration. Jimmy D shoots Ayumi Stars!

Los Angeles based photographer Jimmy D, has been a self taught professional photographer for about 8 years and counting. His work was used for Los Angeles Bachata Festival, MABA Summer Golf Tournament, UCLA La Raza Latino Law Student Association’s Annual Alumni and Awards Dinner and more!

A short info about the man behind the camera:

“When I picked up my first camera in 1998, I began taking pictures of everything. I found beauty and inspiration in snapping away pictures. To me, pictures are moments frozen in time that you can relive over and over again. It is an honor for me to be able to capture life’s precious moments.

I took a break from taking pictures to serve in the United States military for 8 years. I am a proud veteran and, after completing my military service, I decided to pick up a camera once again. I enjoy being able to capture special moments for others through digital photography. “

Model Ayumi Stars @ayumistars

StageF was used for this team’s creative session. The studio is the smallest space we currently offer for our clients. Yet it is one of the most brightest stages with the tremendous amount of natural light coming from North West. It has gained a nickname – “light box” by some of our regulars and it truly fulfills it at any time of the day from dawn until dusk. This studio also features two section laminate floor of white and dark color for your creative needs. As with any of our stages, Studio F comes with 3 strobe lights already included in the hourly rate and backdrop seamless paper installed. Take a closer look HERE.

Boudoir Shoot by Anthony Vu

Photographer Anthony Vu and his friend Vanessa have never done a boudoir shoot before but were eager to try it. Taking a series of sexy provocative shots in Hill 1 was a bit of a step outside their comfort zone, yet the right step to take.

Few words about the photographer:

“Photography to me is just a fun hobby to do whenever I’m not doing anything after work or on the weekend. What made me picked up photography as a hobby was when I saw my friends taking pictures of scenery of gardens and city lights. Seeing how cool long exposures were made, it got me interested in shooting. After trying out long exposure for a while, some close friends asked me if I can take pictures of them for group projects. Then that got me more interested in doing portraits. Practicing shoot portraits of my friends and posting it on instagram. Followers has been asking me to shoot them for their portfolio. Since then I’ve been just been shooting for fun to gain experience and making new friends along the way.”

Stage Hill 1 has a few distinct features you will not find in any other stages. Facing the west side this stage gets lots of natural light in the afternoon and has amazing lighting conditions during the golden hour. Among included props are industrial wooden table with benches, two antique green chairs and white leather comfy chair. And the bed. The bed that comes with clea

n sheets (fees apply) and photogenic look, ready for always anticipated, the “bed scene” Besides, Hill 1 comes equipped with black, white and grey backdrops already installed and three strobe lights included in the hourly rate. If the devil is in details, then our stage Hill 1 just got way more wicked. As you have probably seen before, this stage has had a Queen Wooden Bed and Fine-Mesh Baldachin inside – few elements that defined the character of the stage as intimate, sensual, natural and provocative.

These qualities are cherished by our clients and us (of course), and with this new feature we would like to reinforce it even further. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing – a White Glossy Floor in Hill!

The Greatest Showman Mashup by Aaron Encinas

Singer Aaron Encinas was deeply moved by the movie “The Greatest Showman”, to the extent that he decided to shoot his tribute to it in a form of a dance music video.

The story behind the shoot:

“This Movie Completely Blew me away and Inspired me so much when I saw it. I absolutely had to make my own rendition of some of my favorite songs from the film. I hope you enjoy it. Its essentially a short film and Im so so thankful to the amazing cast and crew who helped make this possible.”

Robert Tate @tate.foto : I really prefer a smaller crew because I think part of what makes a really good photo shoot is that connection with your client. That is kind of lost when you have 50 … 20 … 10, 20 people in a room and you’re just snapping away, versus kind of building that connection with your client. That really evokes that … that emotion that I … I think makes the difference between a great photo shoot and kind of your standard, run of the mill e-commerce one.

Toma Kostygina @toma.kostygina : I really enjoy working with a crew. It’s good when you have assistant, you have a stylist, you have a makeup artist, and everybody works as a team.

Alex Mois @moisnomois : Most of the time, I have no crew. I work myself, me and the model, or me, model, and the makeup artist. But for a bigger project, having an assistant and digitech is very helpful.

Ron Khy @ronkhy : A big crew is always fun and I know there’s a lot of people who can benefit from being in a room with a bunch of people. But to work efficiently, for me, the smaller the better because you get to have more intimate conversations, everyone in the room gets to be creative, you get more input that way, and time just goes a lot faster. Usually when I’m shooting, it’s just me and the subject, and, if anybody, a stylist or somebody doing behind the scenes, but in my shoots, there are never more than three people in a shoot.

Stage UPGRADE: Textured walls, dark stained shelves & cool props in stage D!

We got new cool perks for your creative taste. Let’s have a look at one of our oldest, legacy stages – D. It used to be a plain white stage with large windows, industrial looks and lots of space to utilize. Simple as that.

Let’s mix things up a bit and add a “flavor” to this creative space.

NOW, it has a textured wall with a textured door, dark stained shelf with artificial plants & a heap of decorative books, four yellow cinematography cases (all empty) and a wooden desk. Looking good, isn’t it? But wait, there is more.

I’m a Southern California based photographer/videographer specializing in fashion and portrait work. This was from a test shoot that I had setup with a local modeling agency.
