Although Nikon, Canon and Sony are the standard brands of mass photography market, there are some jewels – full mechanic SLRs that a lot of professional photographers cherish and indulge in active use. In this episode we asked 4 PRO photographers to share their favorite camera and reasons behind it.

AM Photography @amphotography.a.m.p : We made a really very difficult researches to find out this camera. This is the first camera of this grandfather. After long researches, we found it, and he brought it to USA, and he gives that one as a treasure, and as a inspiration of instrument for him.

Alex Harper @alexgharper : Simple. I’ve been using my grandpa’s old film camera from the ’80s, with a 15 millimeter lens, and 75 to 200. That thing has been awesome. It’s an old Nikkormat, and I love it. The colors, the way it sounds. I feel like it’s become an extension of me, which is really cool.

The digital camera, I have a Canon 60, and that thing I … It also has become my left arm, if my phone camera’s my right arm. I love that camera so much.

Toma Kostygina @toma.kostygina : I own a Nikkon D800, and I really like the sharpness of it. But, I also love to shoot on medium format cameras, like Phase One or Hustle Drive.

Attila @attilaadam_ : I have a Canon 60, and I have a Sony just for fun. But, I’ve used almost all types of cameras at this point from Leica to even old Polaroids. I feel like as a photographer, you should actually know more than one equipment, just so that you are never in a jam when something happens, you’ll be able to continue to work.

Canon at this point to me feels like second nature, because I used Canon so many times. But, I’ve been impressed with Sony. So, I’m trying to use that more, and then get more comfortable using one of the Sony cameras.

A Flavor Of The Cosplay World In Art Studios

Beautifully done with just right amount of drama, the photos submitted by “Jack of All Trades” are something we would like to see for every character of the cosplay community!

Amazing Photo Session with Breezy Ann

With help of natural light filling up the stage Art 2 up to the ceiling, the work by photographer David Martin Jr, retoucher Breezy Ann, and fit-model Anna, has really stood out. Gracious poses, perfect frames, and refining editing were combined into an amazing trio of creative input.

“I’m Anna Frenkel. Let me show you what I see when I look at you through my lens. I promise… it will take your breath away! I discovered my passion for photography when my baby girl was born. I found myself constantly creating new photo sessions for her. Soon enough, I started to photograph my friends and family as well. I decided put my film school background to work for me and supplement my photography education with several workshops and classes focusing on photography equipment, composition and style, and of course, how to retouch photos using the latest and greatest software available. Since then, my portfolio has grown so much. Additionally, my family has grown. We welcomed our son into our lives and with him, came even more inspiration. Being a mother has influenced my work in so many ways. I try to create and customize new, entertaining, age appropriate photo sessions that everyone can enjoy. Jhana @Jhana.jpg: The future of my brand. Well, one of my biggest goals is to have an exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Their photography department is just amazing, and to be able to be in that world, I would love. I think that’s about it. I really want to have a lot of exhibits, and I want to be a pretty big name in the photography world.

Jon Sams @Jonsams : The future of my brand is probably more beauty imagery and more fashion portraits. It’s what I’m really interested in, but I always see myself experimenting with style a bit.

Robert Tate @Tate.Foto : I would say my goal with photography is to be in complete control of my projects and what I want to shoot and make a living doing it.

Arthur Brian abmpix.com : The future of my brand is going to be high quality photography for those actors who want to change their careers. I just rally want to help actors.
