Finding the right studio for a spring shoot in New York takes more work than it should. The 4, 8, and 12-hour discounted packages give you better rates than booking single hours. Package hours never expire and can be split across different studio rentals, so you can shoot for 2 hours this week and pick up where you left off next time.

White French Loft Studio with Soft Natural Light in Astoria

For spring shoots that call for an elegant, romantic look, the White French Loft studio Astoria 1 is a go-to. It’s a daylight photo studio with North-East windows, Baroque-style furniture, and a floral trellis prop in Astoria, Queens.

This 930-square-foot studio is located at 35-58 37th St 3rd Floor, Astoria, NY 11106. The North-East windows bring in soft, directional morning light that stays steady throughout the early part of the day. White walls, white hardwood floors, and a white brick corner keep the look bright and clean. The Baroque-style furniture adds a romantic feel that works well for spring fashion, quinceañera, maternity, and boudoir shoots.

The most spring-ready studio in the Astoria location is the Pink and Flower studio Astoria 3. It’s a daylight photo studio with pink and lilac walls, flower arrangements, and a white prop piano in Astoria, Queens.

This 1,022-square-foot space is located at 35-58 37th St 3rd Floor, Astoria, NY 11106, in the same building as the White French Loft studio Astoria 1. A large North-facing window brings in soft, even daylight. This studio offers standout props like a full-size pink British telephone booth with pink and blush roses covering the flower arch and a prop piano. It’s a strong pick for portrait work, personal branding, content creation, and fashion shoots where you want a warm spring look. Astoria 3 rates start from $39.99/hour.

Art Wall Daylight Studio in Long Island City

For spring portrait and fashion work with a creative edge, the Art Wall studio LIC 5 is a solid option. It’s a daylight photo studio with a hand-painted artistic wall, a circular LED light installation, and North-East facing windows in Long Island City.

This 689-square-foot space is located at 4020 22nd street, 4th floor, Long Island City, NY 11101. The North-East windows fill the room with natural morning light. This 680-square-foot studio is also located at 4020 22nd Street, 4th floor, Long Island City, NY 11101. The large South-East windows bring in the best morning light in the building. A flower wall on one side, a raw exposed block wall on the other. Shoot against the flowers for soft, feminine portraits, or flip to the block wall for a grittier edge. A vintage chair and a green velvet sofa add two more set options. The studio has a makeup station with a mirror and seating, and AC/fan (14k BTU). Plan your shoot for the morning to get the most out of the natural light. By afternoon, the South-East windows lose their direct sun. Rates start at $39.99/hour.

Moroccan Tile Loft Studio in Long Island City

For spring shoots that need a warmer, more textured look, the Moroccan Tile studio LIC 7 is worth considering. It’s a photo studio with Moroccan tile flooring, a textured yellow wall, and a window-side elevated podium.

This 800-square-foot space is located at 4020 22nd street, 4th floor, Long Island City, NY 11101. The South-East facing windows bring in soft morning light.
