So what is the movie about?
This short film is a visual metaphor of the frustrating struggle to reconnect with one’s inner child. It’s a moment in time. A decision to pause and take a step outside oneself for a simple, honest connection. This roughly two minute story takes place in a mysterious, nearly empty room with one little girl and a vintage toy claw machine. The story relies less on plot based actions, than it does on the human experience; those fleeting moments that can last longer than what appears on the surface.
The WRITER and DIRECTOR for the movie, Melissa Cripe, sure has many talents. Besides the film production she also does styling, creating and composing and can be reached via her INSTAGRAM or WEBSITE. The rest of the crew/co-creators of this movie could be found on IndieGoGo campaign page dedicated for fundraising of the film production that ended back in July.
Pro Stage I was used for this session. This is the only stage that has an access to a fire escape stairway that is available for your creative needs. It also holds a large seamless white cyc wall, as well as standard photo backdrops and studio lighting for stills, which are the essentials for the professional studio project. Since it is one of the largest stages we have, PRO I can accommodate crews of various sizes and needs for both photo and video shoots. Find out more about Pro Stage I on our WEBSITE.
