If you are looking for a studio with a lot of natural light, Studio Art 1 is a great pick. This 1,390-square-foot studio gives you plenty of room to move around freely. It’s perfect for flowy dresses, couples shots, or maternity looks. You can easily create multiple setups in a single studio rental without feeling cramped or running out of space.
The studio has northwest and southwest-facing windows, so you get that nice soft light in the morning and a warm sunset light during sunset hours.
Beautiful white steps are located by the corner windows. They’re perfect for those dreamy silhouette shots, seated poses where the belly really stands out, or those stunning images of mom in a flowing white gown with downtown LA views.
You’ve also got two completely different built-in backdrops — a big grey textured wall and a grey wood wall — so you can switch up the whole look without ever leaving the studio.

The white baby grand piano is a prop. You can’t actually play it — but it adds so much character to each shoot. No need to bring anything extra. Unless you want to add some flowers or flowing fabric.
If you want to add a romantic feel, we now offer an electric candle rental. For $30 per booking, you get 51 battery-powered, remote-controlled candles (47 smaller ones and 4 tall 10-inch ones). Arrange them along the window ledges with the piano in the frame. The warm candlelight looks absolutely magical.

Studio Art 4 is a 1,800 sq ft space that mixes soft beige plastered walls, built-in shelves, a movable arch, and a warm wooden corner, along with Greek busts and vases. It gives you a variety of different looks to work with.
The southeast and southwest windows bring in nice warm sunset light that makes the whole place feel calm and sculptural, almost like an artist’s studio.
The 8-foot marquee star can be moved to any corner of the studio.

If you’re looking for a clean, versatile backdrop, studio Yukon 2 works really well. This 1,140 sq ft studio has high ceilings and a big 16×17 ft corner white cyclorama wall. The white steps add a nice touch. They give you different levels and great posing options.
In this studio, you have plenty of room to move around, try new angles and backgrounds, and improvise as you shoot.
The cyc wall is basically a blank canvas. You can keep it simple and shoot on the clean white wall, and add a spotlight from our equipment rental list. If you want something softer, you can use the giant pink fabric that comes with the studio rental. It’s 20 by 40 feet and gives a really nice, feminine vibe. Add a floor fan that comes with the studio to get a flowing effect.
That is not it! You also get three muslin backdrops in brown, gray, and blue, and there’s a textured gray wall on the other side of the studio. So you’ve got quite a few different looks without leaving one studio.

If you’re looking for a cozy, decorated interior studio that feels like an actual home, with real furniture – this space is for you!
French Loft is a 900 sq ft studio built to feel like a charming Parisian apartment. You’ve got tall ceilings, beautiful decorative furniture, and soft, flattering light that makes the whole space feel warm and lived-in. It photographs incredibly well.
The studio comes with a lot of nice details: antique-style furniture, a prop fireplace, a plush king-sized bed, a huge mirror, a prop piano, and even a bathtub.
Plenty of windows fill the space with natural light, giving it a warm and bright feel. What makes French Loft special is all the different decorated corners. It genuinely feels like a full apartment in one studio.

Every rental at FD Photo Studio includes three flash units, wireless triggers, light modifiers, c-stands, sandbags, v-flats, a makeup station with a mirror and seating, and free WiFi. Continuous lighting is available for rent across all studios.

All studios are 100% private. No insurance or permits needed. All bookings are self-check-in with a 1-hour minimum.
You can rent for as little as one studio hour. For longer shoots, we offer 4, 8, and 12-hour packages that give you better rates than booking single hours. Package hours can be split across several bookings and never expire.
