Creating Amazing Photos: Lights, Water, and Beyond

At FD Photo Studio we’re all about making your ideas shine. Just like how photographers use bright flashes or soft continuous lights to make their photos pop, our water pool adds an extra touch of magic. Picture your subject stepping onto the water’s surface – it’s like they’re walking on a shiny mirror. You can use bright flashes for a big impact, or gentle continuous lights for a softer feel – it’s all up to you!

But here’s a cool twist: why not go even further? Imagine your model on the water, with your chosen lights making them look fantastic, and behind them, a whole new world. We’re talking about using a video projector to show a backdrop that fits your idea. It could be stars in the sky, a cityscape, or even a make-believe place. We used a projection of a moon for this shoot. When you put it all together – the water, the lights, and the background – your photos turn into something really amazing. It’s like bringing your imagination to life!

We’re not just stopping at water effects – we’re all about pushing the boundaries. Imagine this: adding an extra layer of brilliance to your shots with a mylar reflective film. Simply attach it to a c-stand with an arm on the side of the model, and when you shine a continuous light on it, watch the magic unfold. The film creates another level of water-like reflection, giving your photos that captivating depth you’ve been searching for. Try moving the film with your hand to achieve a dancing light effect.

But wait, there’s more! We’re turning up the excitement with color gels for your lights. Imagine bathing your scene in vibrant blues, deep reds, or enchanting greens. These gels add a splash of drama and mood that will make your photos truly stand out.
