Riccardo Constant’s Nude Photography

About the Shoot:

[Riccardo Constant is] a portraiture/fashion/nude photographer, from Port-au-prince, Haiti. I recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue my photography career. Photography was always my calling, it’s my way to immortalize how everything surrounding me make me feel and it’s also a way to reveal their true beauty, as strange as it sounds, it’s the best way to describe my craft. I try to bring out perfection out of every shot I take while assuming it’s truly achievable. if it’s what you know about me, then you probably know me well. Being a new comer in LA I wanted to find people to shoot with and it was no easy task especially when you don’t know anyone, I contacted a few people, some responded positively then bailed out on me, some others didn’t reply at all, but I was not gonna let myself discouraged by hitting a wall which is pretty common in every project so I had to find a way to make them come to me instead, so I looked for photography pages and groups on facebook and joined them, and then I posted that I was looking for people to shoot with nothing happened mostly because it was night time, the next morning when I woke up, my phone died because I was receiving so many notifications while I was asleep, I couldn’t believe it, one day I had trouble finding models and the next I didn’t know what to do with them.
So I replied them one by one to know which one would be interested in shooting Nude, most said no but there was this one girl, I looked at her instagram page and I knew instantly that she was the one, then we talked and she agreed to shoot but we didn’t have a place to shoot and then she sent me a few links of places we could rent, I looked them up and they were all gorgeous, but most importantly they were cheap, as cheap as $25/h, and there was equipments included in the deal, which was pretty amazing! Finally we picked FD studio and decided to shoot on the following Sunday, we also agreed to split the bill, when she proposed to do that I was thinking about how considerate she was and you don’t meet people like that everyday but that’s not all, she’s also really talented, she raised the bar really high for me, I was really amazed by how she knows how to move for the camera, it was like she was dancing and she’s got rythm too, she knew when to change the pose and by that I mean, she knew that she had to change every time the high speed shutter sound stop. I barely had anything to say and as a first experience it really left a mark on me in a very positive way and on that I have to Thank you Royal for such an amazing experience it was a memorable photoshoot.
