Among growing computerization of all industries it is sometimes frustrating and a bit scary to see how many jobs may soon replace human experts with tireless robots. In the industry of photography as we speak there are light boxes being developed to shoot e-commerce, product shots, look books that will not involve humans.

One genre is still challenging to for the computer mind – beauty shots. With the amount of imagination and creativity it is still impossible to replicate man made marvels with formulas and algorithms.

Photographer Nika Velikova had a creative beauty session with the model Anastasia Gordeyko-Atanessian is stage Art 1.

Nika has shared with us a little bio about her career:

“I am a Los Angeles based photographer, ( former fashion Designer and Stylist) specializing in Travel/ Lifestyle and Portrait Photography. Now venturing out to Editorial Fashion World, and am super excited to be using FD photo studio for all my future shoots. “

Stage Art 1

was a choice of location for this session. Adorned with features like white grand piano and three step podium this stage is a tool of versatility, provider of great natural light, benchmark of industrial Downtown minimalistic design. This space has its windows facing South and West and gets beautiful direct light during the PM hours, and great open-shaded light in the morning. Using strobes? No worries, we include 3 strobe lights in the hourly rate along with black, white and grey background available.
