What is your favorite color? Would you pick bright and happy, dark and mysterious or minimalistic white and black color play on your favorite palate? Believe it or not, there are actually trends in photography that circle about a particular tonal directions. As in fashion, the photography also repeats itself and follows good old proverb that “New is the forgotten old”.
Photographer Jordan Spencer with his keen eye censoring current trends is making steps towards bright and vivid photos as he believes that is the next big thing.
Jordan has shared with us his vision on current trends and his ideas on this photoshoot:
“I had never shot in a studio before so this was just to get some more experience. I chose all yellow because I thought alot of the minimalistic white and black trends were dying, and I wanted to start using alot of color in my work this year. Since the shoot Ive seen alot of people hop on that boat. I think surrealism will be a key stage in upcoming campaigns and magazines, so this was a way to start to ease into that with bright colors. Mostly this was just a fun shoot to add to my portfolio. The entire shoot kind of just appeared in my head one day and so I just set out to shoot it.”

Jordan’s choice for the shoot was stage C. It features large South and East facing windows, with lots of natural light.
