Los Angeles’ favorite photo studio with black cyc wall and rain just got even better. The space now features 4 powerful rain modes, including mist, plus an updated rain platform with a black finish and a new reflective black floor for stronger visuals.
Studio Olympic 2 has 4 rain modes, including mist. This means you can control exactly how much water you want in your shot. Need light mist for a dreamy portrait? Done. Want heavy rain for a dramatic dance video? No problem.
The rain system has four modes:
It’s recommended to use one rain mode at a time for the best water flow.
Another big update is the new black polished floor. It works like a mirror, creating amazing reflections. When you pair it with the RGB tunnel, the effect is stunning. The shiny floor catches the colored lights and multiplies them, giving you that futuristic look you see in music videos and car commercials.
The floor adds depth to every photo. It doubles the impact of the RGB lights and creates an “infinity” effect. Add rain to the mix, and the reflections get even better. Water flows across the shiny surface, making beautiful patterns of light and movement.
The RGB lights above the cyc wall are positioned to make water drops sparkle on camera. This creates that magical effect that makes rain and mist photography look so good.
You also get two extra movable RGB lights for free. You can put them anywhere in the studio. Need side lighting? Got it. Want to light up a specific area? Easy. These free lights save you money on rental equipment and give you total control.
The LED RGB tunnel is a game-changer for fashion and concept shoots. You can keep it fully white with the LED lights on, or switch to RGB mode to add any color you want. With the new floor reflecting all the colors, the tunnel becomes an amazing environment that looks incredible in photos.
Olympic 2 is popular for dance videos with rain. The rain, lighting, and black cyc wall create the perfect setup. The water is warm so dancers stay comfortable. The reflective floor adds a professional look to every shot.

The blackout studio with RGB lighting creates an intimate space. You can create dark, moody looks or bright, colorful shots. Add rain for drama or use mist for a softer, romantic feel.

Fashion photographers love the creative freedom Olympic 2 offers. The RGB lights let you instantly change the mood and color of your shoot. Go from warm orange tones to cool blues in seconds, so no gels are needed. The colored lighting reflects off the black polished floor, creating double the impact in every frame.

Shoot editorial fashion in the rain for that high-end magazine look. Use the mist mode for dreamy, ethereal portraits. Take photos or videos of the car or motorcycle on the black cyc wall under the rain. The RGB tunnel makes the perfect futuristic backdrop for avant-garde fashion or music artist photos. Plus, the blackout space gives you total control over every light source.

Studio Olympic 2 can be connected to Studio Olympic 3 through a large door. This studio has a white cyc wall with overhead RGB lights and car turntable RGB tunnel, Vintage TV Wall. Combined, you get over 3,000 square feet with both black and white cyc walls plus the turntable platform.
FD Photo Studio is self-check-in, so you’ll have the space all to yourself without staff on site. Give us a heads up if you’re planning to use the rain or mist features, or if you need the floor completely dry when you arrive.
A quick safety note: the floor can get pretty slippery when wet, so please take care when moving around during rain shoots. We recommend bringing towels and robes to stay comfortable between takes.
To keep our floors looking their best, we ask that you avoid wearing sharp heels or bringing metal objects that might scratch the surface. And when setting up on the rain platform, please stick to blue painter’s tape only. All tape should be removed by the end of your shoot.
A few helpful tips: the warm water needs a few minutes to heat up. For the best water pressure and flow, we suggest using one rain mode at a time. And since we’re in a lively area and the studio isn’t fully soundproofed, you might hear some street noise from time to time, .
Finally, please remember to leave the RGB remote in the studio when you’re done so it’s ready for the next artist.
Studio Olympic 2 combines things you rarely find together: rain effects, car access, RGB tunnel, blackout space, and a mirror-like floor. The new upgrades make it one of LA’s best studios for fashion, dance, and car photography.
The rain and mist modes give you full control over water effects. The two free movable RGB lights (in addition to the overhead cyc wall RGB lights) mean you don’t need to rent extra gear. The polished floor makes everything look more stunning.
Whether you’re shooting a rain dance video, adding cars to your portfolio, doing boudoir work, or filming a brand commercial, it has what you need.
