James Vela was able to use Stage D for a recent session, shooting a unique set specific to each of his models. Great use of the space, way to take advantage of the creative potential!
Here is what James had to say about his visit: “I booked the day at FD at Stage D because I knew I wanted a lot of space to roam around, as I knew I would have two models and lots of concepts to shoot. My style is a mixture of avant-garde and fashion, and the spectacular daylight streaming through the windows and the convenient backdrops provided were incredibly helpful for everything we needed. Fatima fit the role accepting an invitation from Death just as well as modeling her beautiful features with the help of heaps of natural light spilling into the room at all times of the day.
For Elese, I knew I wanted to capture her softer, dance-oriented side of ballet, as well as her edgier side which marries naughty with nice. Given the studio space and all of the many different lighting configurations available, it was very easy and fun to make some great portraits.
I’ve recommended FD to anyone who will listen. Thank you so much for an amazing day and a very successful shoot!”
