Charles Torrealba shoots Joleen Porter

  A bold, sexual and exotic look of Joleen Porter was the highlight of the stage Art 1 where the photographer Charles Torrealba and Hair stylist Ruby Torrealba made their magic to capture these amazing shots. Working primarily with natural light, the photographer was able to accent look of the model with her intricate features and expressions. A few words about the photographer:  

“If my images make you stop and stare for more than two seconds, then I believe I’ve done my job correctly. My name is Charles Torrealba and I am a Brazilian bred, but world made photographer. I simply strive to capture moments in time that will live forever through my art. As someone raised in the Latin American heat (Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico) and hardened in the Canadian winters. I’ve found a middle ground in Los Angeles, California, which I now call, home. My influence and insight are not only cultured but I seek dynamic in my visual work. As an experienced photographer with graphic design and musical talents, I bring that vibrancy to my portraiture, lifestyle, and wedding photography, and consider myself a one stop visual shop. Adorned with features like white grand piano and three step podium this stage is a tool of versatility, provider of great natural light, benchmark of industrial Downtown minimalistic design.  This space has its windows facing South and West and gets beautiful direct light during the PM hours, and great open-shaded light in the morning. Using strobes?
