As the last steps were being made on runways of Los Angeles Spring Fashion Week this past weekend, many designers, buyers, bloggers, stylists, MUA and photographers celebrated their latest breakthroughs and innovations, social connections and collaborations, the birth of new ideas and affirmation of old ones. Even though Los Angeles is not considered to be the world center of fashion industry and is a few steps away from the level of the Big Apple, rumors have it that soon the game will change. With hundreds of new Angeleno designers emerging every year, the fashion week creative volume has drastically expanded since its inception in late 1990s. Being organized biannually, in March and October, these series of events attract a multitude of industry professionals as well as random spectators going above and beyond to get “on a list”. If you happen to be one of them – a poor fella with no connections yet, but with a sketch book full of doodled skirts and shorts in your pocket, or with the freshly purchased DSLR and big dreams to make it to the fashion show in Los Angeles, here are 5 PRODUCTION COMPANIES that stand behind the organization of famous runway shows, cocktail parties and new collection presentations.

1. LA FASHION WEEK

LA Fashion Week® is an organization dedicated to raising the profile of fashion in the United States with focus on the emergence of Los Angeles as one of the most important cultural cities in the world. “Art Heart Fashion”events are a leading platform for designers and artists to showcase their collections in a contemporary fashion week setting. Their events have been held coast to coast as a national platform for designers to showcase in New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Founded in 2011 by philanthropist and designer Erik Rosete, AHF has grown to become a top platform in the art & fashion community. LA Emerging Designers is the event brand produced by Ecclipse Management. Ecclipse is a full service management company specializing in Brand Management and Showroom Services. Founded by creators of ZellaBlogs.com and LA Emerging Designers, the two merged in order to create a powerhouse in Production & Creative Consulting. Their Showroom is located in the heart of Los Angeles Fashion District, allowing their clients to optimize their production and availability to potential buyers and customers. 4. STYLE FASHION WEEK

Style Fashion Week, producer of globally recognized fashion events, provides top designers a world class platform to showcase their collections.  Each year Style Fashion Week presents the season’s must see shows, unforgettable performances and exclusive installations.  Their expansive Style Marketplace immerses guests in fashion as well as art and design.  Guests directly engage with brands throughout the week. Style Fashion Week represents the diverse cultures of New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Santa Fe, Boston, Palm Springs and Dubai, integrating international designers, media, celebrities and commerce season after season. This past fashion week Style Fashion Week Art Show showcased urban and street art connected to the pulse of today’s art world.  They housed incredible artists from around the world, +20,000 guest attendees, celebrities, buyers, press, and fashion industry insiders. Here are a few notes about its grand vision:

 No conceptual presentation can be presented. Emphasis given in following order: ready-to-wear, manufactured in California, domestically produced, domestic sourcing, locally designed, cost of retail goods, no minimum wage workers.

It has 70% focus on Press and 30% focus on Retailers.

Brands should present entire collection to buyers and press in an efficient format.
